Hecate Inn

Best hotel in town, family friendly suites are well kept and the staff is courteous. Rooms face a quiet street, yet only a 5 minute walk to the grocery store/post office/restaurants.

Stayed here for a month working was in the kitchenette unit. Well stocked and had everything needed to get by. Complementary coffee and such. The cleaning staff does a great job. Front desk staff seem to be spotty at best, hard to get a hold of but very pleasant to deal with and where able to accommodate my needs. My main complaint is with the already limited parking they have three junkers permanently parked, presumably the owners? Designated parking spots are needed.

I spent a week in Haida Gwaii, but only one night in Charlotte. Hecate Inn is the site of the owner's Phantom Kitchen food truck, as well. I ate at there and was so impressed I came back before I left. It's the only place I ate at more than once in Haida Gwaii as I like to try different places. But the burger was so good and the ghost branding was on point for me. I was on a research trip for my next book, which is about ghosts! So it was another reason I liked it. But almost more important than either the branding or the food, is how cool the owners and staff were. They're just awesome, authentic people.

The customer service was great, very relaxed. The rooms are clean and the over environment was simple and clean. The kitchenettes are nice to have.

The Hecate Inn is my favorite place to stay when I'm at Queen Charlotte City. Harry and Bev are very friendly and accommodating. They have a vast knowledge about the islands and activities to do in the area. The Hecate has all you need for a comfortable stay and is close to various amenities.

Bev, Bron and Harry are the Best!! They always go out of their way to help and the friendly atmosphere is really appreciated! Rosie does a great job with the clean rooms! Nicest place to stay on Haida Gwaii! Thanks so much for looking after us for all our visits!!

Sweet little inn! We loved our stay. Very clean and quaint. The kitchenette came with everything we needed! Comfy beds and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Hecate Inn for one night in mid-October. We pulled into town quite late and after calling around for a room, Hecate Inn answered (not a lot of places do this time of year) and were able to accommodate our last-minute request. Room was clean and comfortable, location was great, check-in was easy, and it was a treat to have a kitchenette. Next time we're in town, we'll try our luck again at Hecate Inn.
